How do you tap into other industries to grow your community without promoting your products but your core values? This is how we tackled this challenge for one of our clients PremierCredit.
Instead of the usual #WCW image and simple caption, we decided to have depth in our posts. We put on our research caps on and went to work. We researched thoroughly and wrote inspiring facts and stories about the Zambian women impacting both the local and global stage. By tagging the protagonists, we were able to bring in, their ‘tribe’ and increase both PremierCredit’s awareness and engagement. With no Ad money to this campaign, we saw, in the first 3 months:
Hired by the production house, OutFarm Media Works, we handled Digital Marketing services for their client, Ecobank Zambia. For their SuperPOS B2B product, we decided to not just run an awareness campaign, but to also show business impact – bringing in real customers. Carefully crafting copy and placing Ads on multiple Ad placement options, we ran a Leads Generation campaign for Ecobank. The results?
Selling property on Facebook to Zambians in the UK and US is challenging, because of Meta’s ‘no discrimination Ads policy’. The policy prohibits running property Ads that are targeted and wants to allow everyone to have ‘property purchasing opportunities’, despite their age, gender, race, etc. Because all the targeted Ads were being rejected, a soft-sale for Free Webinars for Diaspora Connect was the way to go.
Our task? To get as many potential Zambians living in the Diaspora to to sign up and show up for these live Webinars. We ran a video funnel campaign, coupled with Reach (Awareness), Lead Generation and Traffic Ads. ‘After the click’ tactics were employed, ensuring that we create a landing page that converts and retargets non-takers. What did we achieve?
